The 5* Maria Cristina Starwood Hotel was inaugurated in 1912 and its last renovation had taken place in 1986. The project was developed in collaboration with HBA as the interior designer. The challenge was to carry out all the building works in the shortest possible time, which was accomplished in 10 months. This made it possible for the inauguration to take place in July 2012, coinciding with the centenary of its first opening
